Summer Reading Registration Week

Summer Reading registration week is June 12 – 17. If you can’t make it to the library during this week (for construction, etc.) we will allow registrations through June 24. We have groups ranging from 3 years old up through students going into their senior year of high school.

The Tortoise Awards (for the last male and female to cross the finish line) went to Sam Spencer and Rebecca Getchell. Rebecca was happy to receive this award for the 3rd year in a row.

Next Meeting Monday, June 12th at 6PM

or you can always check schedule at address below:

Saegertown Area Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of committed young people in grades 7-12 interested in making a difference in their community.

TAB meets once a month at the Saegertown Area Library. Members receive volunteer community hours for their time during meetings and at programs.

Who can join?

Teens, ages 13-18 from any Penncrest school

are eligible to join TAB.

What will teens do on the TAB?

Help the library by advising about what books you

want to read and what programs and activities you’d like to see.

TAB members will plan, promote, execute, and attend programs.

Why should I join?

TAB is a great way to earn community service hours while building

teamwork and leadership skills. Make a real difference in your

community. Have FUN and make new friends. Get a TAB t-shirt

that you can wear to all the library events, letting all know you

are an important TAB member.

Examples of TAB activities:

Open mic poetry readings, book clubs, graphic novel swaps,

Book reviews, blog posting, gaming events, author events, contest planning,

art shows, and the possibilities are all up to YOU!

Thank you and have a good Presidents Day.
